WordPress 3.1 introduces post formats. Now your posts can be formatted differently depending on whether they’re an image, video, gallery, link, aside, audio or standard post. This allows for so much distinctions between your content. It also makes it easier to display exactly what you want on your site. No more worries about just the content and the excerpt being an option for how your post is displayed.
